Scene Point Blank Webzine

My first 'real' website and still my favourite, Scene Point Blank has evolved hugely over the years.

It's currently undergoing an extensive redesign (watch this space for updates!) but in its current incarnation, features a wide array of creative CSS and styling (check out some of the features!). I also produce all of the graphics for our band interviews and features, which are well worth exploring.

In backend terms the site has evolved hugely from the early days of static HTML (updating the A-Z review index was always a joy) through to generic phpNuke CMS, and finally through to the 100% custom written one we power the site with currently (again, also undergoing a rewrite as we speak).

We use a fairly conservative amount of client-side scripting, mainly for effects like overlays and tab boxes, but the new incarnation is a much more visual affair - expect it over summer 2009!
